Build a funky Succulent Plant Pot

Saturday 10.00am-3.00pm  02 November

Using low fire terracotta clay, slips and low fire Glaze, you will construct, decorate and glaze your original piece. We will hand build it (no wheel throwing involved) using pinch and coil techniques.  Step by step instructions will be given. Learn basic score and slip to attach the two composite bodies.  Then use your imagination to add hair, facial features and your personality. The pot is approximately 12 cm high and wide. Pieces will be dried, then fired, and can be picked up from the HAGAS studio in the following weeks.

Members cost: $70.00   Non-members $90.00  All materials and firing included.   A shared lunch will be arranged.  Maximum 10 people. Payment will be required at time of booking.

Beginners Painting Workshop

8x weeks starts Term 1, Thursday 7.00-9.30pm 06 February 2020

This workshop will cover the basics and more of painting (with acrylics/oils). Gain a better understanding of colour and tonal values; learn about shapes and areas and how to paint them, includes paint handling.  This will be a small class with opportunity for individual coaching and advice.  MEMBERS $80.00    (Annual member fee $50.00)
